He has held technical and management roles in mining operations of various scales. In Peru he worked for Hochschild Mining as head of guard and currently holds the position of head of strategic planning for Minera Huinac. In Chile he had an important step at Minera Escondida as a medium-term planning engineer and senior innovation and technology engineer. José has solid knowledge of the preparation and evaluation of mining projects, as well as asset valuation with real options.
