Dr. Luis Martínez is a mining engineer from the National University of Engineering (Lima-Peru) with more than 23 years of academic and industrial experience. He holds two master's degrees in mining engineering from the WH Bryan Research Center - the Sustainable Mining Institute at the University of Queensland (Australia), and a doctorate in advanced mining project evaluation based on real options analysis from the School of Economics and Finance / Mathematics of Queensland University of Technology (Australia). 

Luis's experience is in the fields of underground mine production plan optimization, mineral economics, financial modeling and commodity prices and forecasts with extensive exposure to precious and base metals, iron ore and coal.
